John has been working as a potter for the last forty years from his workshop in Horsley. John was a member of the team at Winchcombe Pottery for eight years, from 2012 until 2020, and still works there a few days each month.
The work is informed by the long tradition of English slipware, and more particularly by the work of Michael Cardew.
Functionality is a priority in the design and
durability of the pots.
